A cook and freelance writer in New York City, Anna Watson Carl loves food. After training at La Varenne Ecole de la Cuisine, in Burgundy, France, Anna went on to complete a restaurant apprenticeship in Paris at Maceo (most traumatic moment: butchering a crate of ducks). She has since worked as a personal chef, cooking instructor, editor at Culture+Travel, and has tested recipes for publications such as Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Real Simple and Martha Stewart Everyday Food.
Anna writes on food and travel for a variety of print and online publications including Travel + Leisure, TIME, New York, Huffington Post, Food & Wine, Anthology, and Fathom. She is the author of The Yellow Table, a blog highlighting her passion for healthy cooking and dinner parties.
