Anna Watson Carl is a cook, writer, and dinner party enthusiast. She is the author of The Yellow Table: A Celebration of Everyday Gatherings and creator of the blog The Yellow Table. She writes a weekly newsletter and teaches cooking classes in Nashville, TN. Coming in 2024: The Yellow Table Café & Crêperie!

About Anna 

Anna grew up eating every meal around her family's yellow table, which inspired her love of good food and community. After studying French cuisine in Burgundy, France, Anna spent the next decade cooking and writing in New York City. Her work has appeared in a variety of national publications including Food & Wine, Travel+Leisure, WSJ Magazine, Tasting Table, and Food52.

 

Anna is the author of The Yellow Table: A Celebration of Everyday Gatherings, and co-author of The Cook's Atelier. Today, Anna lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and two kids, and carries on the tradition of feeding friends and family around the yellow table (which now lives in her home). She writes The Yellow Table Weekly (a weekly newsletter) and teaches regular cooking classes. Her newest project - The Yellow Table Café - is slated to open in late 2024.
